At Selectd, accessible from our mobile application, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Selectd and how we use it.
1. Data Storage & Security
Selectd is designed with a "local-first" philosophy. Your job application data, notes, and reminders are stored locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database. We do not host your personal job search data on our servers.
Sensitive information, such as authentication tokens or API keys, are stored in the device's Secure Store (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).
2. Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of third-party services to ensure the app runs smoothly and to provide essential functionality:
- Sentry: Used for crash reporting and error tracking to help us fix bugs and improve stability. No personally identifiable job data is sent to Sentry.
- RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat may collect transactional data to verify your subscription status.
- Expo: Our framework provider. We use Expo's update service to deliver critical bug fixes to you over-the-air.
3. Log Files
Selectd follows a standard procedure of using log files for debugging purposes within the app. These logs are stored locally and are only accessible to the developer if you explicitly choose to share them for support purposes.
